WHO: For people who are interested and invested in Sandra Kim’s rollercoaster of a healing and spiritual journey and want to learn more about how they can support her in following her spiritual calling and others like her
WHEN: Thursday, November 9th at 10 am - 11:30 pm PT / 1 - 2:30 pm ET
WHAT: In this 90 minute online gathering, Sandra Kim will share how she:
- Recently embraced her unexpected (but not surprising) spiritual calling to become an initiated Korean shaman (무당 mudang) - after almost 20 years of being on a Zen Buddhism-based healing and spiritual journey
- Worked through her internal resistance to her calling - which wouldn’t have been possible without financial, emotional, and spiritual support from the WildSeed Society
- Advocates for making this type of community support available to all those called to do spiritual and healing work in our movements and communities
- Believes that spiritual workers and community healers are the critical but too often missing key in helping our movements and communities skillfully respond to the world burning around us
Please know that if WildSeed’s unique approach speaks to you, Sandra will invite you to support WildSeed’s fundraising efforts during this difficult organizational financial time. So Sandra and other people with similar spiritual and healing callings can get the community support they need to follow their life purpose and offer their unique gifts to our communities during these times of crises.
WHY: At the WildSeed Society, we’re building portals to a future where we all got free. We see the world, as we know it, burning down around us. And we want it to die, because it has been killing us for generations.
While we may feel this in our bones, it’s still a terrifying future to look into. While this society was designed to oppress and exploit us, this prison has still been the only home many of us have ever known.
That’s why at WildSeed, we believe it’s important to remember that these times of burning can become times of possibilities for us - especially if we can embrace our life purpose.
Instead of all of us trying to do everything on our own, we can each find our individual lanes and do it in community. So everyone is holding down something and everything is being covered!
However turning towards our life purpose is also usually terrifying! It means letting go of what society has told us we have to do in order to survive and be acceptable - and following what makes our hearts sing and what our souls long for.
That’s why Sandra wants to share her journey in (eventually) following her calling and what it took over almost 20 years to get her here. In the hopes that it doesn’t take YOU almost 20 years to do the same!
She hopes that her story can serve as an inspiration and motivation for what is possible…
When we let the fires burn down our chains and let ourselves fly - together.
